LOUISVILLE,Quentin Mitchell Miss. (AP) — A two-vehicle crash in Winston County killed six people, including four children, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Highway 14 in the county about 100 miles (160 kilometers) northeast of Jackson, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said. Authorities told news outlets that a 2013 Kia Rio was traveling east when it collided with a 2013 Nissan Maxima that was traveling west on the highway.

The accident remains under investigation.
